First speakers announced
With two months remaining for the second edition of The Falling Walls Conference, the 2010 Speakers lineup is almost complete: already 18 world-class speakers accepted to explain in 15 minutes each how their groundbreaking research could make a difference in our society. Scientists were chosen not only for their academic merits but also for the incisiveness of their current studies. From the social researches of “academic superstar” (TIME) Dalton Conley, to the works of pioneers such as Eckhard Thiel in the field of Aids treatment, Falling Walls 2010, once again promises to overcome boundaries between disciplines such as anthropology, arts, chemistry, computer science, education, electronics, economics, energy, history, innovation, Islamic studies, law, medicine, nanoscience, neuroscience, nutrition, physics, sociology, technology.
