Solomon Abiola wins the Falling Walls Lab Rochester 2016
On 18 May 2016, the University of Rochester hosted the first Falling Walls Lab of Rochester.
A selected session of innovators from a broad spectrum of scientific fields came together to share their innovative research with a high-calibre jury. Cancer Treatment, Food Safety Monitoring and Memory Technology were only a few of the topics presented.
The winners of the Rochester Lab qualified for the Falling Walls Lab Finale which takes place in Berlin on 8/9 November 2016.

Millions of people suffer and die each year from infectious diseases, despite our public health efforts due to the inability to forecast, predict and prevent such outbreaks from Ebola, Zika and beyond. Using mHealth, big data, and wearable solutions, I devise actionable data solutions which enable and empower those at risk for infectious diseases in realtime.
