Kenya is ready for innovative ideas
The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the Universitas Indonesia will host the first Falling Walls Lab of Kenya. The Nairobi Lab is supported by the Federal Foreign Office of Germany, the Falling Walls Foundation, A.T. Kearney (Founding Partner) and Festo (Global Partner).
The Falling Walls Lab Nairobi will take place on 13 September 2016 at the Goethe-Institut in Nairobi.
Bachelor and Master students, PhD candidates, postdocs, junior professors and entrepeneurs are invited to present their research projects, business models and social initiatives in front of a high-calibre jury and an interdisciplinary audience.
The winner of the Nairobi Lab will travel to Berlin and participate in the global Lab Finale on 8 November 2016. The winner will also receive a ticket for the Falling Walls Conference where world-class scientists and leaders from academia, industry and policy-making will come together.
